Softball Recap: Laconia Sachems vs. Hanover Bears
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Laconia). They put the hurt on the Hanover Bears with a sharp 27-9 victory on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Sachems, who have now won four matches in a row.
Amaya Dutile made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off four hits. Dutile was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
