Four Corners waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Mater Brighton Lakes Academy Broncos 3-0. The Coyotes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Four Corners was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-3.

Paige Hoft went supernova, getting 17 aces. Catalina Rodriguez was another key player, getting 17 assists and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Four Corners was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mater Brighton Lakes Academy only served four aces.

Four Corners' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Mater Brighton Lakes Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

After both having extra time off, Four Corners and Hope Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mater Brighton Lakes Academy, they will head out to take on New Dimensions at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Mater Brighton Lakes Academy is facing New Dimensions at the right time seeing as New Dimensions is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
