Recap: Bruni Badgers vs. Woodsboro Eagles
The Bruni Badgers entered their tilt with the Woodsboro Eagles with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Bruni simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Woodsboro 45-8 on the road. The result was nothing new for Bruni, who have now won four contests by 30 points or more so far this season.
Albert Esquivel was his usual excellent self, rushing for 155 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 139 yards and three touchdowns. Esquivel's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards. Bruni also got a significant boost from Siah Moss, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 84 yards.
Bruni has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Woodsboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Bruni will look to defend their home field on Friday against Agua Dulce. Agua Dulce will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Woodsboro, they will head out on the road to face off against Pettus on Friday.
