Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chadwick walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 72-53 win over the St. Elizabeth Hornets on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on six straight.

Loss or not, St. Elizabeth got some senior leadership from Gavin Williams and Nick Heckemeyer. Williams posted 12 points and three steals, while Heckemeyer went 5-for-10 en route to 16 points. Williams is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games he's played. Noah Chipman was another key player, putting up ten points.

Chadwick's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for St. Elizabeth, they moved to 22-10 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Chadwick nor St. Elizabeth have any future games scheduled.
