St. Joseph's Academy faced John Curtis Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Redstickers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Patriots. Winning may never get old, but the Redstickers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

While St. Joseph's Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16.

St. Joseph's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for John Curtis Christian, they moved to 10-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
