Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Whites Creek

Whites Creek extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Michael Palmer. The Whites Creek Cobras blew past the Stratford Spartans 67-35 on Thursday thanks in part to Palmer, who went 7 of 9 en route to 16 points and six boards. Those 16 points gave him a new career-high.

Whites Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Stratford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whites Creek and KIPP Nashville Collegiate will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Stratford, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against RePublic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Stratford is facing RePublic at the right time seeing as RePublic is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
