Basketball Recap: Westview Takes a Loss

Westview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Mountainside Mavericks, falling 58-34. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-26 back in January.

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Mountainside, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westview will welcome Southridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountainside, they will be playing at home against Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th.
