Softball Recap: Choctaw Central Warriors vs. Union Yellowjackets
After flying high against Lake on Thursday, Choctaw Central came back down to earth. The Choctaw Central Warriors fell just short of the Union Yellowjackets by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2016.
Gillion Eaves made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Rayne Killingsworth was another key player, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases.
Choctaw Central's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Union, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Looking ahead, Choctaw Central will challenge Clarkdale at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Union, they will face off against Brandon at 12:45 p.m. on Friday.
