Volleyball Recap: Stargate School Extends Winning Streak to Six

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Stargate School had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Canon City Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Canon City's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mason Lenard, who had 15 digs and two assists, and Micah Paschall, who had 12 digs and 12 assists. Paschall is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Stargate School's record is now 17-5. As for Canon City, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Coincidentally, Stargate School and Canon City will both be playing Vail Christian the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Saints at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
