Baseball Recap: St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse Takes a Loss

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 17-5 to the Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse of the 9-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Steven Campbell was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Chase Harder was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Walla Walla Valley Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Walla Walla Valley Academy beat St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse by a score of 17-7 later that day.
