Baseball Game Preview: Adelanto Saints vs. Esperanza Aztecs

The Adelanto Saints will square off against the Esperanza Aztecs at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Adelanto's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Esperanza has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Saturday, Adelanto came up short against Claremont and fell 7-3.

Meanwhile, Esperanza also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Canyon by a score of 9-4.

Esperanza got a good showing from Brody Reeds, who tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Furthermore, Reeds didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March.

At the plate, Esperanza saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Pastian, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Bishop Thomas was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Adelanto's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Esperanza, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.
