Football Recap: Grace Christian Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Grace Christian Academy walked away with it. They walked away with a 17-7 win over the Northpoint Christian Trojans on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The critical scores for Grace Christian Academy came from Jedidiah Fish and Toby Sarnacke.

Grace Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Northpoint Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Grace Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Boyd-Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lions 13.8, the Buccaneers 13) so any points scored will be well earned. Northpoint Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
