Baseball Recap: Calvary Chapel Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Brevard HEAT last Tuesday, Calvary Chapel Academy came back down to earth. The Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles lost 13-3 to the Palm Bay Pirates on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 16-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Calvary Chapel Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mauricio Urdaneta, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Calvary Chapel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Chapel Academy will head out to take on St. Edward's at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Palm Bay, they will venture away from home to square off against Westwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
