Basketball Recap: Tomball Memorial Continues Road Dominance on Friday

It was a proper cat-fight when Tomball Memorial duked it out withTomball on Friday. The Tomball Memorial Wildcats came out on top against the Tomball Cougars by a score of 36-29. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-43 back in December of 2024.

Mallory Lehmann and Maddie Caldwell certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Lehmann posted ten points, while Caldwell scored four points and six rebounds.

Tomball Memorial's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-5. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points per game. As for Tomball, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-8.

Tomball Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-40 win against Magnolia West on the 28th. Tomball has also already played their next game, a 55-25 victory against Magnolia on the 28th.
