Lansing Catholic proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 18) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Mason Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Zoey Gruber made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits.
