Soccer Recap: Donegal Blanks Solanco

Donegal kept a clean sheet against Solanco on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Golden Mules. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Donegal's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 170th, while Solanco are ranked 462nd).

Donegal has now won three of their last four games on the road. That's given a healthy boost to their 9-4-2 record this season. As for Solanco, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11-1.

Coincidentally, Donegal and Solanco will both be playing Manheim Central the next time they take the pitch. The Golden Mules will host the Barons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
