Soccer Game Preview: Corinth Holders vs. Millbrook

The Corinth Holders Pirates will face off against the Millbrook Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Corinth Holders didn't have quite enough to beat Enloe and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for Corinth Holders in their meetings with Enloe: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Millbrook strolled into their game on Tuesday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. Their defense stepped up to hand Wakefield a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Millbrook, who have now won 13 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Millbrook's win bumped their record up to 17-0-1. As for Corinth Holders, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9-1.

Corinth Holders suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Millbrook in their previous matchup back in April. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Pirates were down 5-0.
