Baseball Recap: CHAAMP HomeSchool Takes a Loss

CHAAMP HomeSchool's tournament run continued when they took on Maud on Saturday. The CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks fell just short of the Maud Cardinals by a score of 5-4.

Joe Hefner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Trenton Coleman, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

CHAAMP HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Maud, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, CHAAMP HomeSchool will face off against Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Maud, they will square off against Queen City at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
