Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitnall). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Milwaukee Lutheran Red Knights 74-35. The Falcons' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Riley Ward produced another solid performance going 9-for-16 to rack up 23 points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (two). Kylee Sias-Chaney was another key player, shooting 75% from the field en route to 14 points and four steals.

Whitnall was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Whitnall and bumps their season record up to 5-3. As for Milwaukee Lutheran, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-5.

Whitnall will take on West Allis Central in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Milwaukee Lutheran, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 84-47 defeat against Franklin on the 17th.
