Football Game Preview: Franklin Quakers vs. Grant Generals + Official Tickets

Franklin is 2-8 against Grant since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Quakers will challenge the Generals at 7:00 p.m. Franklin has given up an average of 39.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Franklin is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 48 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Roosevelt on Friday. They were dealt a 50-7 loss at the hands of the Roughriders. The Quakers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Grant, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They strolled past McDaniel with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 17-0. The win continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Mountain Lions: they've now won eight in a row.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Grant, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-5.

Franklin couldn't quite get it done against Grant in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 33-20. Can the Quakers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
