Soccer Game Preview: Stadium vs. Auburn

The Stadium Tigers will square off against the Auburn Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stadium's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Stadium's victory against Auburn Riverside wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Ravens 2-1.

Meanwhile, Auburn has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 17. They lost 5-0 to Tahoma on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Auburn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Tahoma are ranked fifth).

Stadium's win bumped their record up to 5-2-4. As for Auburn, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7-2.

Stadium was able to grind out a solid victory over Auburn when the teams last played back in March, winning 2-0. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
