Grayville extends road losing streak to four

Recap: Grayville Bison vs. Carmi-White County Bulldogs

The Grayville Bison's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 57-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carmi-White County. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Grayville in their matchups with Carmi-White County: they've now lost eight in a row.

Several Bison players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty'zae Rowland, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds. Rowland continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Zach Leavens was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Grayville's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Carmi-White County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-5.

Grayville will be playing at home against Waltonville at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Carmi-White County, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Eldorado at 2:30 p.m. on January 27th. Eldorado will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 578th, while Carmi-White County is ranked 179th).
