Abe Weirich posted a new career-high in hits on Thursday. He went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season.

Coming up, Weirich and Mount Union will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bald Eagle Area at 4:30 p.m. Mount Union has some work to do to even out the 1-7 series between these two since May of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
