Given Texas Lions HomeSchool's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while New Way Christian Academy is ranked 950th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kania Prichett was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points. Marley Herring was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Texas Lions HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for New Way Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.
Texas Lions HomeSchool on the road again on Tuesday and play against Evant at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Evant is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for New Way Christian Academy, they will take on Tournament Opponent at TBD on Thursday. Tournament Opponent is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
