Recap: Accelerate Christian Warriors vs. Holy Cross Crusaders
The Accelerate Christian Warriors had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They blew past Holy Cross 58-23 at home. With Accelerate Christian ahead 36-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Audrey Jaramillo continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 32 points and nine steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Accelerate Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Danity Diaz, who scored 14 points along with five assists.
Accelerate Christian pushed their record up to 13-8 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Holy Cross, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
