Nuiqsut Trapper came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Meade River Eagles. That's the eighth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-2 win on Saturday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Nuiqsut Trapper who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 21-25, 16-14.

Nuiqsut Trapper's win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Meade River, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-11.
