Baseball Recap: Mesa Verde Mavericks vs. Colusa RedHawks
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Mesa Verde ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Colusa RedHawks 8-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mavericks also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2025.
Casey Purcell looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
