Football Game Recap: McCook Central/Montrose vs. Flandreau

McCook Central/Montrose gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Flandreau 7-6. That result is just more of the same for McCook Central/Montrose, who also won the last time these teams played.

McCook Central/Montrose got off to a sluggish start, posting 0 total points in the first half. That left them at a 0-6 disadvantage. In the second half, however, McCook Central/Montrose's defense made a stand and allowed a meager 0 points. This was the first game for both teams, giving McCook Central/Montrose a 1-0 record and starting Flandreau off at 0-1.
