Basketball Game Preview: Temecula Prep Patriots vs. Elsinore Tigers

The Temecula Prep Patriots will head out to face off against the Elsinore Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Temecula Prep saw some tournament action on Monday. Everything went their way against Mountain View as Temecula Prep made off with a 60-36 win. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Elsinore, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against Costa Mesa by a score of 78-66 on Monday.

Elsinore has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.6 points per game. As for Temecula Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
