Volleyball Preview: North Harrison Cougars vs. Eastern Musketeers
North Harrison and Eastern are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Harrison will be strutting in after a win while Eastern will be coming in after a loss.
North Harrison took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Paoli.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-20.
Meanwhile, Eastern didn't have quite enough to beat Scottsburg on Thursday and fell 3-2.
Eastern took Scottsburg into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-18, 22-25, 25-21, 15-10.
North Harrison is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Eastern, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-4.
Everything went North Harrison's way against Eastern in their previous matchup back in September of 2023 as North Harrison made off with a 3-0 victory.
