Volleyball Recap: Albemarle School's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Albemarle School was the 3-0 winner over New Life Academy when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Colts lost 3-0 to the Bobcats on Monday.

While Albemarle School was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into New Life Academy's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-19.

Albemarle School's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for New Life Academy, the win was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Albemarle School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lawrence Academy on the 26th. As for New Life Academy, they will host Bethel Assembly Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
