Basketball Recap: Red River Takes a Loss

Red River came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 66-45 to the Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors. The loss continues a trend for the Rattlers in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost eight in a row.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool had a senior duo take command as Toby Pike dropped a double-double with 21 points and 21 rebounds and Isaac Aguilar went 9-for-13 to rack up 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Aguilar has scored all season. Wyatt Huston was another key player, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 10 points.

Red River's defeat dropped their record down to 24-12. As for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Red River nor Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool have any future games scheduled.
