Soccer Recap: Galesburg Christian Takes a Loss

Galesburg Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Quad Cities Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, Galesburg Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 413th, while Quad Cities Christian are ranked 19th).

Galesburg Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Quad Cities Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galesburg Christian will host Tri-State Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Quad Cities Christian, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against DePue at 4:30 p.m.
