Volleyball Recap: Spring Valley Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Spring Valley and Shady Spring squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Spring Valley had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Timberwolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Shady Spring found their leader in sophomore Bryanna Shrewsberry, who had 12 assists and four digs.

With the loss, Spring Valley broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 35-13-7. As for Shady Spring, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 40-12-1 record this season.
