Carter Gillespie gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Thursday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Grafton is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 15-16 otherwise.

Coming up, Gillespie and Grafton will challenge Fairmont Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats had to take a loss when they last met the Polar Bears, but Gillespie had little to do with the loss: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.
