Basketball Recap: Leake Central Gets the Win

On Tuesday, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Leake Central Gators made off with a 48-47 victory over the Provine Rams.

Leake Central now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Provine, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Leake Central will take on Murrah in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Provine and Newton County will compete for holiday cheer at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
