Baseball Game Preview: Parkrose Broncos vs. Centennial Eagles

For the second straight game, Parkrose will face off against Centennial. The Broncos will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Parkrose has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 9.

On Wednesday, Parkrose came up short against Centennial and fell 6-2.

For Centennial's part, Grant Solowski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, Logan Landolt was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Isaac Galofteanu, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Centennial's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-16. As for Parkrose, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.
