Basketball Recap: Marble Falls Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Marble Falls won the last time they faced Taylor and things went their way on Friday too. The Marble Falls Mustangs walked away with a 67-55 win over the Taylor Ducks. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Taylor lost, don't look at Eli Laurence. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of TJ Whybrew, who posted ten points.

Marble Falls' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-11. As for Taylor, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Marble Falls will take on Jarrell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marble Falls is facing Jarrell at the right time seeing as Jarrell is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Taylor, they will face off against Salado at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season.
