Softball Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Fairview's offense. They lost 10-0 to the West Point Warriors on Monday. The Aggies have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for West Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairview will face off against Arab at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Point, they will challenge Lawrence County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
