JT Gard has been named player of the year. "JT is a four year lettermen and served as co captain of the team this season. Season. He earned All-Region awards 4 times, 1st Team All-State preseason his Junior and Senior year as voted on by the Georgia Coaches Association, the Golden Boot Award his Freshman year. This season, he finished with the highest save percentage in Georgia Class AAA, had the second lowest Goals against average in Class AAA. And is under considered for the Georgia Super XI team of the year which includes members from all classifications and the Georgia All State team. He is a joy to coach and will be missed. JT plans to attend Covenant College to pursue a degree in pre-medicine and continue his playing career there. "
