The Salem Witches basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Beverly Panthers to 47 in the Witches league win on Friday.

With the win, Salem upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Witches travel to South Boston (South Boston, MA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-5. South Boston lost 81-59 in their recent non-league bout against Salem (Salem, MA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans (Bridgewater, MA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 3. Beverly will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 64-58 non-league win over Beverly (Beverly, MA).
