5'8" OH Alana King, class of 2014, plays for Newton North High School, and played last season for NE Champions Smash 16's team. Newton North ended defending State Champion Barnstable's two year winning streak in this game played on 10-24-2012. Newton went on the following week to defeat the other previously unbeaten teams to become the current top Massachusetts high school team. They were second in the MIAA State Finals Div 1.
