Coaches Game Summary

Walpole started game 1 slow with service errors and unforced errors while Needham played strong on both offense and defense. After trailing by as much as 7 points, the Rebels began a slow climb back with services aces and attack kills, however, it wasn't enough to win the set. The Rebels came out stronger and the beginning of set 2 and worked on earning more points. Defense worked hard to control the ball against Needham's hard driven attacks. The Rebels kept the lead until the end of set 2 and continued that momentum in to set 3, taking both of those sets. Needham started set 4 stronger and led by a few points, but Rebels kept within striking distance. At 15-15, the Rebels took the lead and kept playing strong, winning the set and the match. Outstanding performances by all players contributed to the win.
