The Elkton Golden Elks baseball team (Elkton, MD), was overwhelmed 11-6 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Fallston Cougars (Fallston, MD)

Fallston defeated Elkton 11-6 Friday afternoon in UCBAC baseball. The Golden Elks put 6 hits together in the 1st inning to jump out to an early 4-0 lead. The Cougars came back to score 3 runs in the 2nd 3rd and 4th innings to take control of the game. Junior Brett Sperl was a perfect 4 for 4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Bryce Logan had 2 extra base hits, a double and triple, to drive in 2 while scoring 3 times. Sean Harris tripled and drove in two while Kyle Hoover also added 2 RBI. Blake Loewe went 4 innings to pick up the win. Sean Harris worked the final 3 scoreless frames to pick up his first save of the season. The win gets the Cougars back to .500 as they are now 6-6 overall, 5-6 in the Chesapeake division. Fallston’s next game is Monday April 25th versus North Harford at Harford Community College, 4 pm first pitch.
