The Almont Raiders (Almont, MI) basketball nipped the host Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI), 64-57 in Friday's league test.

The Raiders (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Richmond (Richmond, MI). The Blue Devils go into the Blue Water Area test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Richmond got by Yale (Yale, MI), 37-21, in a league test.

The Muskrats now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Imlay City for a Blue Water Area test on Friday, January 27. Algonac will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 60-38 league win over Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 7-4.
