Armada Tigers (Armada, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Yale Bulldogs (Yale, MI), 40-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Armada upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Capac (Capac, MI) to play the Chiefs in a Blue Water Area bout on Monday, February 5. The Chiefs come into the bout with a record of 11-2. Capac won 43-40 in their recent league battle against Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI)

The Bulldogs (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Sandusky (Sandusky, MI). The Redskins come into the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Sandusky was nudged by Brown City (Brown City, MI), 55-47, in a league battle.
