Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Capac Chiefs (Capac, MI), 74-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Imlay City upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Spartans host Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI) to clash with the Pioneers in a Blue Water Area bout on Friday, February 27. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Croswell-Lexington lost 37-23 in their recent league bout against Armada (Armada, MI)

Next up, the Chiefs clash with the Armada Tigers (Armada, MI) in a Blue Water Area bout, on Friday, February 27. Capac will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-15 record after their 37-23 league win over Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI).
