Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Clair prevails Maple River
St. Clair Cyclones (St. Clair, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), 54-39 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Clair upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Cyclones travel to Nicollet (Nicollet, MN) to play the Raiders in a Valley bout on Tuesday, February 17. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Nicollet won 69-51 in their recent league bout against Truman (Truman, MN)
Next up, the Eagles play the Blue Earth Buccaneers (Blue Earth, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 17. Maple River will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 77-63 non-league win over Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN).
