Mora Mustangs (Mora, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Albany Huskies (Albany, MN), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Becker for a Granite Ridge challenge on Tuesday, May 5. Mora will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Milaca (Milaca, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 22-1.

With the loss, Albany falls to 21-4 on the campaign. The Huskies host St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN) to battle the Crusaders in a Granite Ridge challenge on Tuesday, May 5. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a record of 6-17. St. Cloud Cathedral lost 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN)
