Minnesota High School Softball - Maple River bounces Medford
Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Medford Tigers (Medford, MN), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown for a Gopher challenge on Monday, April 6. Maple River will battle a Buccaneers squad coming off a 17-7 league win over United South Central (Wells, MN). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Medford falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host United South Central (Wells, MN) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 6.
